Health & Safety

Before your treatment

Your safety and comfort come first. Please read these notes before you book, and tell your therapist about anything relevant when you arrive — everything you share with us stays confidential.

Allergies & sensitivities

Tell us about any allergies — including latex, resins, lash adhesive, nail products, fragrance, nuts or essential oils — plus eczema, psoriasis or any skin condition. We'll choose suitable products or adapt the treatment, and if we're not confident it's safe we'll say so.

Medication, pregnancy & medical conditions

Let us know if you are pregnant, taking medication such as retinoids, blood thinners or acne treatments, or living with diabetes, epilepsy or a circulatory condition. Some treatments will be adapted, deferred, or may need your GP's approval first.

When we cannot treat you

We cannot work over broken, sunburnt or infected skin, active cold sores, or an area treated with laser, chemical peels or microdermabrasion in the last 72 hours. Waxing is not suitable within six months of oral acne medication. If you arrive with something we cannot treat, we'll rebook you at no cost.

Hygiene & standards

Single-use disposables where required, tools cleaned and sterilised between every client, and wax is never double-dipped. Our therapists are qualified and insured, and the salon is cleaned down through the day.

Aftercare

After waxing or a facial, avoid heat, sunbeds, swimming, saunas and heavy make-up for 24 hours, and keep the area clean. Mild redness is normal and settles. We'll give you aftercare advice for your specific treatment before you leave.

Clients under 16

Under-16s are welcome for selected treatments with a parent or guardian present to give consent and stay for the appointment. Some treatments are not suitable for younger clients and we'll let you know when you book.

Not sure whether a treatment suits you?

Call us on 0207 998 5055 before you book and we'll advise honestly — including telling you when the answer is no.
